Guided Alligator Hunts Across the Florida Panhandle

Florida Alligator Hunts (Aug. 15 – Nov. 8). Our fully guided wild alligator hunts in the Florida Panhandle are done during the day or night from boats using a variety of tools & tactics. This is by far the most exciting, action-packed way to hunt wild Florida alligators — most people love the boat ride just as much as the hunt. If you like action-packed hunting, this is the hunt for you. Our goal at Heritage Excursions is to help you check gator hunting off your bucket list!

Rates & Fees

Trip fee (covers 3 people): $1,200 — add $100 for an outfitter-provided tag; add $500 for Calhoun County hunts
Booking deposit: 50% of the total trip cost (pay the balance on the day of your hunt)
Harvest fee: $100 per foot, rounded up to the nearest foot (a 7’6” gator is charged as 8 feet); minimum $600 per gator
Trophy fee: $500 for harvested gators measuring 9’10” or more
Common tipping rate is 20–25%

Counties We Hunt

We hunt along the Florida Panhandle in Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Walton, and Washington Counties.

Good to Know

Refrigeration, processing, and taxidermy are available
All paid hunts include transporting your gator to our processor and/or taxidermist
You are responsible for arranging pickup of your alligator once processing and/or mounting is finished (taxidermy & processing costs are not included)
Everyone participating must sign our liability waiver
